谷歌浏览器 v85 的官方版本主要是通过引入配置文件引导优化（profile guided optimization，PGO）进行更新，这将页面加载速度平均提高了 10%。这是编译器优化技术，当 CPU 同时运行多个选项卡或程序时，速度会更快。选项卡已得到改进和优化。标记组可以帮助直观地区分主题或任务标记，甚至标记的优先级。它们可以折叠和展开，以便更容易地查看需要访问的选项卡组。
